ABOUT JACK

Jack is a film composer based in Los Angeles, California, and is originally from Austin, Texas. He got his start in 2019 on HBO Max's "Looney Tunes Cartoons" assisting composer Carl Johnson. Since then, Jack has worked with composer Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) contributing additional music for Holkenborg's high profile scores for films and video games, such as 2022's "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" and "Three Thousand Years of Longing", 2023's "Rebel Moon", and 2024's "Skull & Bones", "Mad Max: Furiosa", "Sonic the Hedgehog 3", and "Godzilla and Kong". In addition to his film work, Jack has worked with clients such as DAE Light Media, scoring their production logo used in film projects on platforms such as Netflix.

Beginning at age seven Jack showed an interest in writing music, starting by figuring out how to arrange and play his favorite film scores by ear on the piano - that curiosity and self-determination led to writing full orchestral works by high school, scoring student films by college, and now working in the film music industry in LA!

When not writing music, Jack can be found searching for new places to take sunset photos for his Instagram story, making an iced coffee, or vehemently defending the Oxford comma.
